HWWTW played a big role in developing the Chicago Hip Hop scene in the early 90s. They opened for the likes of the Pharcyde, Arrested Development, and A Tribe Called Quest. The group included Ronald Clark (Continuity), Juba Kalamka (Grandee Cootabee), Lora Branch (DJ Rapture), Duro Wicks (Shame Love Tempo) and often featured special guests and collaborators.
